Dreamy Room Level 178 Walkthrough & Guide

Welcome to the Dreamy Room Level 178 walkthrough! Follow this guide to create a harmonious and nostalgic onigiri festival scene.

Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Place the sandy yellow floor tile in the center of the room. Select the square base from your inventory and align it perfectly with the on-screen grid. The curved corner should face the bottom-right. Ensure the seam between the tile and wall backdrop is flush, setting the foundation for the scene.
  2. Position the cherry blossom trees behind the main areas. Drag one tree to the far left and the other to the far right, making sure their canopies touch the top of the background pattern. Adjust if necessary to avoid overlapping with exterior walls.
  3. Install the main nori-wrapped sushi house at the back center. Locate the black, onigiri-shaped building and position it at the midpoint of the back wall, aligning it with the tile’s curve. Use arrow keys for precise adjustments to maintain symmetry.
  4. Set up the secondary onigiri stall on the right side. Place the black tent-shaped stall on the right third of the room. Ensure its bright yellow awning faces the player, parallel to the main sushi house.
  5. Arrange the front onigiri cart and rice barrel near the left corner. Place the wooden cart in the lower-left corner and the rice barrel beneath its right side. Make sure they align correctly and do not collide with the cherry tree.
  6. Place tables, benches, and characters for diners in the foreground. Set up three picnic tables and benches. Position the four animal characters accordingly: the orange-hat cat on the left, the purple fox at center, the pink-bow rabbit on the right, and the brown bear in front.
  7. Add lanterns, a menu board, chopsticks stand, sake bottles, and grill. Hang lanterns on either side of the stalls, place the menu board between stalls, set the chopsticks holder and sake bottle on the central table, and position the grill by the bear at the front.

Notes & Precautions

  • Alignment is crucial; even minor offsets can disrupt the festival's symmetry.
  • Ensure background trees are placed before stalls for proper layering.
  • Use zoom and arrow keys for fine-tuning placements, especially for small props.
  • Avoid overlapping objects by ensuring each has its space.
  • Save frequently, as the game does not autosave mid-layout.

Tips & Tricks

  • Enable "ghost" preview to see where items will snap accurately.
  • Turn off grid snapping for delicate placements by single pixels.
  • Use bring-forward and send-backward shortcuts to adjust stacking order swiftly.
  • Filter inventory by category to locate small details efficiently.
  • Keep a side-by-side reference screenshot for progress checks.
